Greetings fellow brothers
I’ve been spreading the word around and trying to interest any and all Nam Knights to attend Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2008 (MBBW 2008). So far we have reached out to several chapters but still haven’t had contact with others.
As of right now (01-28-2008) we have over 45 NK’s, from 5 different chapters, committed to going and with wives, girlfriends, and guests over 70 total from our family heading down for the festivities. We’d still like to see some more jump in. If you need assistance finding housing we can put you in touch with some folks and hopefully get you some housing that is near the three locations that we currently occupy. If you already plan on going please let me know who’s going and where you’ll be staying. We’d like to keep in touch with you if you plan on going. I plan on distributing a couple names and phone numbers from each chapter as persons of contact so we can keep in touch with each other while down there. Obviously we won’t be together 24/7.
We have plans to make a day trip to Charleston, South Carolina which is about 1 ¾ hour trip from Myrtle Beach. It would be great if we can get all the NK’s together for this day trip.
Delaware Valley has a couple of houses in Garden City. Lost Chapter O.C. has a couple houses just north of Garden City in Surfside. Lost Chapter O.C. is about a mile away from Delaware Valley’s house. Free State and Old Line have three houses in North Litchfield which is located just south of Murrell’s Inlet.
Delaware Valley throws an annual party at their beach house(s) on Thursday. Lost Chapter O.C. throws an annual party at their beach house(s) on Wednesday. Free State and Old Line will figure out a day to throw their first annual party…probably on Monday but that’s still to be determined.
